So in May it was my 21st birthday then ten days later it was Tom's 21st. Both of our parents teamed up and suprised us with a trip to New York which was such a shock as we had no idea. We stayed in a hotel called Pod 51 the room was basic but the hotel had a real funky vibe. We went on a tour and did all the sights. It's amazing to just sit in the morning on bench and just watch the hustle and bustle of city life. If you ever go I'd recommend going to booklyn and having a meal there. I'd recommend a Mexican restaurant called Alma. It has a roof top you can eat on a watch the twinkly lights of lower Manhattan. It was by far one of the most amazing trips I've been on.
